hi! i'm dr. hayley phillips
Mother
As a mom myself, I know just how common pelvic floor issues can be but I also understand just how treatable they are as well as preventable. Understanding how to help prepare our bodies is vital but it is also never too late to start rehabilitating your symptoms.
Return to Sport
I have been passionate about physical therapy for a long time, but even more dedicated to helping women understand the benefits of movement during and following pregnancy and how you can return to all your favorite workouts (lifting, jumping, running, etc.)
What do I treat?
Pelvic floor physical therapy has a variety of diagnoses! Some of these include painful intercourse/dyspareunia, urinary issues and leakage, low back pain, hip pain, tailbone pain, prolapse, diastasis rectus abdominis, pregnancy and postpartum care, abdominal pain, endometriosis, pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, and much much more.
Education
There is a major lack in education for pelvic floor health because it's a taboo subject for many. In the US, pelvic floor therapy is not included in standard of care, but I want to do everything I can to change that. I want to break down the barriers and empower individuals to step into their healthiest, happiest, and most whole selves!
